Tenth Youth kickboxing exam

This past weekend marked a special moment at Fight Game Academy: for the tenth time, we organized the youth kickboxing exams. A milestone we look back on with great pride.

Under the guidance of Sensei Peter Boer, Sempei Sakvan Arab, and Sempei Wendy van Gils, the young fighters had the opportunity to showcase what they’ve learned over the past period. From basic combinations to self-created sequences each participant brought their own style to the exam.

What made it even more special? The large turnout of parents, siblings, and grandparents. Their presence filled the room and, for some participants, added a bit of extra pressure. But those healthy nerves were transformed into focus, strength, and pride.

The exam covered all key elements: technical execution, physical control, and mental resilience. That last aspect isn’t scored with points, but it clearly showed in how our young athletes handled pressure, feedback, and perseverance.

All participants passed. And that’s not just a formality it’s the result of commitment, consistency, and the dedicated support of our trainers. We are incredibly proud of our youth. They’ve shown that they’re not only learning how to fight, but also how to grow.

Congratulations to all on your new ranks. You are living proof that hard work pays off. On to the next level.
