Yin yoga has gained considerable popularity in the Netherlands. The postures in this form of yoga focus particularly on strengthening and loosening connective tissue and joints. They stretch deeper muscles and promote flexibility in the pelvic area. Originally intended to make it more comfortable to meditate in the Lotus pose, it also proves to be a valuable exercise, especially for people with sedentary jobs.

What are we going to do?

In Yin Yoga, we will engage in prolonged and quiet poses, focusing on strengthening and loosening connective tissues and joints. During the session, we do not actively tighten the muscles, but aim for deep relaxation, which promotes both physical and mental flexibility.
