Kyokushin Tezuka Spring Camp 2026
Recently, we travelled to Italy for the Kyokushin Tezuka Spring Camp. This camp has now been a fixed tradition for 15 years, and this year it was once again a great success. Karateka from different countries came together to train, share experiences, and meet one another.
During the camp, training was led by a strong international team consisting of Gennaro Di Donato (4th dan, Italy), Semmy Schilt (9th dan, Kyokushin Budokai), Jean Michel Piot (6th dan, France), Liborio Ferro (6th dan, Belgium), and Peter Boer (4th dan, the Netherlands).
What makes this camp special every year is not only the high level of training, but above all the atmosphere. Gennaro has a unique way of bringing participants together and making everyone feel welcome. That is what makes the Spring Camp more than just a weekend of training.
The training sessions took place at Sporthal Palatsport in Cavazzale, Monticello Conte Otto, Vicenza. A great location for an event that has become a well-known tradition within the Kyokushin Tezuka Group.
We look back on a highly successful and inspiring camp. A weekend filled with strong training sessions, great meetings, and a great deal of respect on the mat.
